Teaching the Hudson Valley offers teachers and non-formal educators tools for place-based learning.

THV hosts an annual summer institute and occasional workshops. We welcome suggestions and are open to collaborating with schools, historic sites, museums, environmental groups, and others.

THV also holds online book discussions. If you want to propose a book or facilitate a group, let us know.

Because we serve the entire Hudson River Valley National Heritage Area events tend to be held mid-Valley, in Hyde Park, which is also where we are housed. If you would like to host something closer to your school or site, we are very willing to work with you.
