THV's annual Summer Institute is happening Tuesday through Thursday, July 26-28, at the FDR Home & Presidential Library in Hyde Park, NY.

Our theme - Place and the Digital Native: Using Technology and Social Media to Teach the Hudson Valley - means this is one educational conference you don't want to miss.

We'll be talking about Skype field trips and learning through digital games and virtual worlds. Top education blogger Dina Strasser will jump-start our thinking about technology and place-based education by asking, "Would the Lorax or FDR tweet?"

For the third year in a row, we're doing field experiences, where you get a rare look inside a THV destination - museums, historic sites, environmental centers, digital labs - and discover how your Hudson Valley is ablaze with unique learning opportunities.
